But in general, I find Clover's concepts a lot less applicable to Buffy than to The X Files, which isn't surprising: I have always tended to read BtVS as fantasy (rather than horror) and XF as horror (rather than sf).

There was a moment back there when I would've said, 'Yes. Okay.'
